Using Modern Technology To Awaken The Masses

With the use of "modern equipment" the Nation of Islam educates the masses

The purpose of My Walk With Farrakhan as stated on our Facebook Page is as follows: "This blog was founded and is maintained by Brother Mustafaa Abdul Muhammad as a means of expressing to the world his spiritual walk with his Leader, Teacher and Guide-The Hon. Louis Farrakhan. This walk is expressed through personal writings, reflections, videos, interviews, articles and more." 

Despite my name being on the blog and being the sole contributor(at this time), I never intended for this to be a solo walk. I would like to grow this blog to be a place where students and followers of The Hon. Louis Farrakhan can showcase to the world, via their works, the greatness of our Leader, teacher and guide. 

At this time I would like to highlight the works of a few believers in our MIGHTY Nation of Islam.

 

Modest Models Inc is founded and maintained by Sis. Tamorah Muhammad and is created for the stated purpose "Modest Models is about showing the World True Beauty without exposing our sacredness." Sis. Tamorah has used technology(Facebook, Twitter, Youtube) to show the world a proper image of the black woman and inspire civilized behavior in our women and girls. 

She also hosts the popular Blog Talk Radio Show which tackles important topics in the lives of black men and women with a diverse panel of brothers and sisters from the Nation of Islam.

 

Brother Jesse Muhammad is a triple powerhouse of writer, blogger and motivational speaker. His partial bio is as follows, "I am a Staff Writer for The Final Call Newspaper, which is published by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. As new comers to using the internet to spread this great truth, the sisters of the Tulsa Study Group of The Nation of Islam have started a blog talk radio show to tell the little known history of "Black Wall Street" in Tulsa. The purpose of their show is: "Inspired by the on going Works of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, In an effort to do our part in uplifting our people and give special attention to the Black Woman. We produce shows by Allah's permission that addresses sisterly love,coming into the knowledge of self,conscious music,artist entrepreneurship and unity."

The believers mentioned on this blog post just represents a few of the many great men and women who have been inspired by our great teacher, The Hon. Louis Farrakhan. 

Every Sunday @10am cst the Nation of Islam broadcasts it's live weekly webcast from Chicago.  Featured speakers in the past have been Min. Minister Farrakhan statement on pending Troy Davis execution

Editor's Note: The following statement was released by the Honorable Minister Farrakhan regarding the pending execution of Troy Davis.]

September 21, 2011 (3PM Central Time)

We are deeply saddened at the prospect of the state of Georgia taking the life of our brother Troy Davis.

Every life is precious with Allah, the life of the policeman that was killed and the life of Troy Davis.

The worst part of this is that an innocent man may die for a crime that most believe he didn't do. The arrogance of authority to not fiercely fight for the truth that may exonerate him is dangerous for the state of Georgia.

When Cain slew his brother Abel, God told him that the blood of your brother cries out from the ground for justice. If our brother is killed, and he is innocent, I feel sad for the state of Georgia for the God of Justice will retaliate. 

May God's Peace be with him, be with his family, and those of us who would mourn his loss.

A Picture Of The Infamous Destruction Of "Black Wall Street" in Tulsa, Ok

Last night a few sisters, members of the Tulsa Study Group branch of The Nation of Islam, got together to tell the, still little known, story of the destruction of Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Ok. As one of the sisters stated she didn't hear anything about this wicked history, though living there all her life, until she was 18 years old. The sisters shared the history including the many businesses black people were able to build by being self reliant. 

As the title of the show indicates, the show's greater purpose is to rebuild such a entrepreneurial spirit today so we can save our communities. Listen in to this telling of history at the below link.
